To all Ms. Wheelchair Kansas friends and supporters, 

It's fundraiser time! Each year, to successfully coordinate our Ms. Wheelchair Kansas event, we must raise enough money to reach our budget goal. This year, we are having a variety of fundraisers that make it easy for our supporters to help us out and get something in return. Check out our fundraisers below and please consider which ones that you would like to participate in: 



1. Shop Online at iGive.com...perfect for the upcoming holiday season! 



Have plans to shop online in the coming months? Your shopping can actually benefit Ms. Wheelchair Kansas. When you shop a variety of popular stores at iGive.com, a financial portion of your purchases comes to our program. All you have to do is go to www.igive.com/mwks , register, and then go shopping! It's that simple. And, if you shop within 45 days of registering, Ms. Wheelchair Kansas gets an extra $5. 

Also, you can raise money by searching the web as well. How many times a day do you search the web? Next time that you want to do a search, consider going to www.iSearchiGive.com/mwks and use it as your search engine. Every search that you conduct automatically gives $0.02 to our program. 



2. Purchase Marion Lane Candles...contact me with your order or buy online. 



Another great opportunity for the holiday season! Trying to figure out that special gift for your friend or family member? Everyone loves a scented candle. We are currently selling candles from the Topeka-owned Marion Lane Candles. Fifty percent of all candle sales goes directly towards our program. The best part? ANYONE can order through the Marion Lane website. Simply visit www.marionlanecandles.com/shfuprno.html , order your candles or diffusers, and they will be shipped directly to you. Be sure to mention "Ms. Wheelchair Kansas/Carrie Greenwood" in the comment section at checkout. If you are local and would like to purchase through our order form, then just email me with your order, and I will turn it in. Please contact me before November 20, 2009 to ensure that your order will be placed . Easy, fun, and a great way to support Ms. Wheelchair Kansas! 



3. Restaurant Night in Topeka...have a fantastic meal and give back at the same time! 



We will be doing a Ms. Wheelchair Kansas Night at a restaurant in Topeka in the coming months. All that you have to do is come to the restaurant on the selected night, have your meal, and be sure to mention our program when your bill comes. A portion of all proceeds that night will come directly to Ms. Wheelchair Kansas. While we have not finalized all details for this event yet, we will send out more information when a date and  restaurant are selected. 



4. Give a direct donation...always an option. 



If you would rather not participate in any of the above fundraisers, but would still like to donate to Ms. Wheelchair Kansas, we always accept direct financial or in kind donations. If you would like to give a finacial donation, please send checks, made out to "Three Rivers  Inc./MWKS" to the following address: Ms. Wheelchair Kansas, Attn: Carrie Greenwood, 4001 SE 34th Terr., Topeka, KS 66605. In kind donations for our event or auction are always appreciated as well.
